The G20 countries represent 90% of the global GDP, 80% of global trade and two thirds of world’s population.
The economic and social importance of the G20 YES summit in Mexico was the reason behind the intense, two-weeks works of EuCham representatives in Mexico City, meeting economic and political representatives from across the world and Mexican institutions and companies.
Meeting the president of Mexico Mr Felipe Calderón at the presidential residence Los Pinos in Mexico City, Mr Patrik Kovács questioned about the role entrepreneurs should play in terms of employment. The president highlighted that in economic crisis time is strategical to invest in young enterprises, and to support them with training, resources and possibilities.
Mr Michele Orzan of the European delegation personally thanked Mr Calderón for his commitment to young entrepreneurship cause.
