
The B20 (Business 20) is the business engagement group of the G20 initiative, representing 85% of the global GDP, over 75% of international trade, and two-thirds of the world’s population.
The B20 Summit brings together business representatives from the G20 countries, selected invited countries, and international organisations to discuss economic and business issues.
Several EuCham representatives were invited to attend the B20 launch summit in Cape Town, South Africa.
Besides its President Mr Michele Orzan, the Social Impact Chair Ms Naledi Ncube will represent the commitment of EuCham towards an equitable future in the business world.
Furthermore, the Board Member Mr Patrik Kovacs was nominated Co-Chair of Investment and Trade Taskforce for the B20, working on strengthening global trade and investment frameworks to unlock economic opportunities, foster collaboration, and enhance market access for businesses worldwide.
The EuCham delegation will also focus on expansion of Euro-African business collaborations and mutually beneficial partnerships, besides expanding the extensive network of the European Chamber across G20 economies.

The G20, or Group of Twenty, is an international forum that brings together the world’s major economies to address global economic challenges. Comprising 19 countries and the European Union, the G20 serves as a platform for dialogue and cooperation on issues such as sustainable development, financial stability, climate change, and global health, fostering collaboration to drive inclusive and sustainable growth.
The G20 comprises 21 members.
