The Polish-Hungarian Business Council (PHBC) and EuCham organized a seminar on the topic of Polish-Hungarian business cooperation on 10th November 2011 at the ESSCA Business School. PHBC invited four speakers from law, business and academic sectors who presented topics related to the law and economy issues in the two countries.
Mr Tamás Balázs, managing partner at Balázs & Holló Law Firm spoke about “Legal background for investments in Hungary”. Ms Małgorzata Morvay, managing director of Polpharma Hungaria, presented the success story of Polpharma, the leading Polish pharmaceutical company. Mr Gábor Bisztrai and Izabela Kisłow from Bisztrai Law Firm discussed some problems in Polish-Hungarian business contractual relations and Maciej Kisilowki, a professor at Central European University, talked about Regulatory Environment of Business in Hungary and Poland.
The presentations were followed up by a very successful networking session.
The next business cooperation events from EuCham and PHBC are planned for March and October 2012 in Warsaw as well as for February and November 2012 in Budapest.
