EuCham organizes the Roundtable with the Government of Macedonia on Fri 6 Dec 2013

    The Prime Minister of Macedonia Mr Nikola Gruevski and the main Ministers (Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mr Vladimir Peshevski and Minister for Foreign Investments Mr Bill Pavleski) will welcome a delegation of investors, CEOs and European business leaders. Other participants include the CEO of Macedonian Free Zones Authority Mr Viktor Mizo, Ambassador Mr Darko Angelov, as well as Agency for Foreign Investments and Export Promotion representatives.

    The roundtable is for highlighting specific issues such as raising capital and understanding how to invest in Macedonia. The event will bring together major investment decision makers, international organisations from CEE region and operators alongside key government representatives to provide delegates with in depth market insights and connects international investors with Macedonia’s most promising business.

    The direct meeting with the government will be integrated by an optional visit to special economic zones, one-to-one meetings with high-ranking government officials, and specially organized presentations with Macedonian investment target companies.

    A new World Bank and IFC report says that Macedonia is once again in the 10 economies that improved its business regulatory environment the most in the last year, implementing 6 regulatory reforms that make it easier for enterprises to do business. It is the 4th time since 2007 that Macedonia is recognized by Doing Business as one of the top 10 economies of the world in terms of one-year improvements.
