The Social Business Forum identified enhanced communication and increased visibility as key factors for the growth of social enterprises.
EuCham – European Chamber organized the Social Business Forum 2016, providing insights on the social impact of social enterprises. The event attracted more than 100 participants from 20 countries and hosted the exhibition of 10 organizations and NGOs active in the fields of social entrepreneurship and sustainability.
EuCham president Mr Michele Orzan opened the conference by highlighting the fact that social good and profit are not mutually exclusive concepts. Ambassador of France Mr Éric Fournier and Ambassador of India Mr Rahul Chhabra in their welcome speeches shared with the audience great examples regarding social businesses and social entrepreneurship. This year’s speakers included: Ms Anna Horváth, Country Director at NESsT, Ms Petra Pászka, Head of Marketing at MagNet Bank, Mr Elemér Eszrer, Chairman of PBG FMC, Ms Zsuzsanna Keri, Co-founder of Impact Hub Budapest, Ms Rozi Váczi, Founder of Matyodesign, Mr Áron Jakab, CEO of fruit of care, Ms Reka Luca Dely, Manager at Nem Adom Fel Cafe & Bar and the forum was moderated by Mr János Czafrangó, Program Manager from good.bee, Erste Bank Hungary.
