More than 70 participants attended to the EuCham Turkish Business Seminar on 07 May 2012 at ESSCA Business School. Five speakers made presentations about topics related to business and opportunities in Turkey.
The Ambassador of Turkey in Hungary, H.E. Mr Hasan Kemal Gür opened the event with a speech about the involvement of the Turkish Embassy and the importance of this institution for the business world. Ms Seda Sevgi, commercial counsellor of the Turkish embassy talked about the Turkish economy and gave a trade outlook about it. Mr Levend Arisoy from Turkish Airlines presented his company’s success story and some lines of its policy. Ms Guspe Unlucetinkaya from White & Case gave an overview of the Turkish legal system and the expectations for it. And finally Mr Goekhan Yildirim, director of Reviesta Consulting group presented the Turkish Energy Sector.
The presentations were followed by a successful networking session attended by participants from 19 countries: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, UK, Ukraine, USA.
